Discussions for ranks, traditions, events, etc.

The discussion was getting a little muddled in the initial thread so I organized it all for everyone to look at in one post. If I missed anything, just let me know and I'll add it up!

Tradition suggestions:
[spoiler]- Painting the cave walls with different colors representing various ranks. (for example, the chief might be purple, shaman blue, tenderfoot white, snowstriker red, lionheart yellow)
- Hosting a festival where the entire clan goes outside the caves during an Aurora Borealis ( [member=60]Leigh[/member] )
- During this festival, they may be more likely to see spirits/have supernatural encounters sometimes meant to tell of the future or reflect on the past.
- A festival to celebrate the beginning of Snowbound with various competitions and games (could possible be combined with the festival mentioned above?)
- Decorating the caves with dreamcatchers [member=9]Kicksie[/member]
- Always having hot coco for guests during events [member=9]Kicksie[/member] [/spoiler]

Chief (HP); The leader of the clan.

Snowseeker (HP); The second in command and aid to the leader. They take control of Snowbound once the current Chief dies. They have all the same powers as a Shaman and Lionheart but may also approve event ideas and schedule weekly tasks/prompts. They also act as a mediator in any fights between the factions of Snowbound.

Shaman (HP); The primary healer as well as the main link and messenger of the spirit world. Often older in age but may also be young. They report to the Snowseeker and Chief regarding anything to do with the healing faction of Snowbound and organize the medical team as a whole. They also help handle management of events and maintaining positive relationships with allies that the Snowseeker and Chief have approved. They have all the same responsibilities as tenderfoots.

Tenderfoot (sHP); Shaman in training. Their primary focus is studying medicine and religion while also taking an active part in strengthening alliances (such as acting as ambassadors and often hosting parties). They may accept event invitations and hold weekly tasks/prompts. 

Snowstriker (HP); The Snowstriker presides over the Lionhearts and contact the Chief and Snowseeker regarding anything to do with the Lionhearts (whether it be for defense purposes, internal conflicts, or managing current Lionheart members). They also are in charge of gathering information on Snowbound's enemies and allies to maintain the tribe's safety. They have all the same responsibilities as a Lionheart.

Lionheart (sHP); A small amount of specially chosen members who have proven to be an integral part of the tribe. Their primary focus is on defending the clan and coming up with strategies for both fighting enemies and hunting. They may accept invitations and hold weekly tasks/prompts.

Note:
- Here are a couple alternate names I came up with that I think might fit the overall theme a little more:
Shaman: Snowhealer, Frosthealer, Frostshaman
Snowstriker: Froststiker

- Adding a thread that'll bring attention to open threads that still need replies after a certain amount of time.

alright there was some brainstorming on the discord about clan plots and whatnot so i wanted to throw that here for future reference/discussion

- avalanche
- a plot that causes the start of the major religion in snowbound
- possibly creating a number of npc ancestors for this religion that can appear in different dreams/visions
- having a variety of morally grey ancestors that represent various things due to snowbound being a passive clan
- having a 'good versus evil' type plot to start the ancestors (possibly with one side trying to cause illness/hallucinations/malicious visions
- maybe they start worshiping/honoring some of the ancestors in various traditions in order to keep away darker/malicious spirits

Hmm I know this isn't super vital but maybe some legends about the area they live in?

Like for how some countries have myths about things in marshes or yetis in mountains we could have like our own yeti/abominable snowman kinda myth? And maybe it's a good/bad luck thing to spot or see a sign of one?

Maybe there's like hunts for it like Bigfoot? But like only to say you saw one not necessarily to catch one since we're not a mean group or smthn idk.
