Caesar had finally lured out Edvwdug out from under his bed and out of his room, and had been able to bring the snapping turtle out in camp. It took a while, but he finally got the damned creature to follow him. Mostly because he had the turtle treats Roxanne gave him. "Alright, Edvwdug." Caesar spoke towards the turtle, shoving forward a plush animal he found... somewhere. He didn't conjure it up because he didn't have the ability to yet, but he had found it somewhere. "Training time. Bite this and you get a treat."

Of course, Edvwdug didn't really understand him and was just laying on the ground, half of his body in his shell and the half inside of it. Although Caesar had no idea what he was doing, he was sunbathing. But the fact that he was doing nothing made Caesar irritated. "Listen to me, you little prick." He snarled, waving the stuffed toy in the reptile's face. "Bite it and you get a treat." He wanted Edvwdug to learn to bite people and be kind of like a guard turtle, kind of like how Roxanne had Kal.

Caesar had noticed that Cronas had approached to watch what he was doing, but he didn't expect them to bite down on the toy like he was asking his pet (a term used lightly). The demon blinked at them for a few moments, actually and genuinely surprised by what they just did. "I, uh..." Caesar replied. "It's turtle food, Cronas." If they wanted to try it, he wasn't going to stop them by any means. But this was definitely the most weirdest thing he had ever seen Cronas do, so he was just kind of recovering by the fact that they bit down on the stuffed toy, expecting a treat just like a normal pet.
