If you want to know what I associate with your characters, feel free to post below? For example, this is one of my previous associations though this one was for a relationship lmao:

Working to the point of exhaustion with a hand between your shoulder blades to keep you standing. The strange exhilaration of being cornered. Fully stamped passports. Ferris wheels. City skylines. Soft pillows, thick blankets. Strings of mini lanterns. Dusty boxes of bittersweet memories you're not sure you should open. The heartache that comes from wanting. Water slowly wearing down a cliff face. Getting lost on purpose.[/spoiler]

AMBROISE: Late sunset with a purple sky, the aftermath of a wildfire, a frozen lake at night. An abandoned cabin with a hole in the roof, torn sheets and pillows, green bruises. Rockslides, earthquakes, cracked but stable foundations. A fire left untended, something reduced to hot ash and coals. Books with missing pages. Sitting alone on a front porch, unlocked back doors, old oak trees.

Tattered silk, gnarled roots, moss clinging to rocks. Smooth pebbles, shallow streams, colorful schools of fish darting around. Oil lanterns, summer leaves and storms, flute music. Smooth wood, treehouses, warm fires.

Thick callouses, repeating the same action until there's blood. Sage green, fall leaves, dead trees, grey water. Loud music through old headphones, baggy clothing over bandages.

Stained fingers and rolled up sleeves. Silk ribbons. Very early dawn, full moons, gravel roads. Dark creaky wood, dusty beds, clear skies at night and factory smog during the day. Well-played games of chess. Burrs. Venus and Uranus. Violins and orchestral music, the process of tuning a piano. Grayish purple, silver, and matte black.

KRIS: Torn books meant for children, once-bright colors now faded, worn bandages, oversized sweaters. Dull scissors, tangled spools of thread, blurry pictures. Broken toys, scratched records, a barely-there voice. Empty rooms with no doors, concrete staircases, warm light through a window. Pastel colors, thick stripes, shiny stickers.
