venus' plot thread

i thrive off character interaction and so far venus has mostly been an isolated bub, so if you could humour me for a few whacky relationships id be so happy. theyre a mostly outgoing kitsune who has an obsession for pathology and gentics - mostly ferals and how exactly this more or less "sub-species" came about. if that incites any plot idea please tell me!! but also venus is terrible and will manipulate people into getting exactly what they want. also an idea for some plots maybe?

down for:
- friendships (venus is high maintenance though lol)
- rivalries
- enemies
- one-sided crush (either way, as long as it's not mutual)
- science buddies
- lab rats
- mentor/apprentice relationships
- teaching your character anything (from medicine, science to speaking ukrainian or korean.)
- scuffles (venus is irritating and gets irritated easily if you offend them.)

unsure about:
- family (adopted or not. mostly because venus hates to become attached to people; that means they have to start feeling things like empathy towards them.)
- flings (i dont want to be completely closed off because you might have a really cool plot idea, but for the most part this is closed off unless you have some long and exciting plot to go along with it.)
- hurting y/c (venus is more passively aggressive and less physical.)
- being captured (more open about this one)

closed to:
- litters
- being maimed/maiming y/c intentionally
- two-sided crushes/romantic relationships (with existing plots its just a little awkward)

I think Clem and Venus would be a very amusing (and awesome) friend pair! She's only just getting to apprentice age, but she really wants to learn medicine (given her multitude of health issues), and she'd honestly be super interested in everything Venus had to teach.

She's pretty... innocent as far as things go because she spends so much time in isolation or only with her father, so it would be a good way for her to branch out and start learning!

She can also be manipulated like a drop of a pin, obvs, if that's something interesting to you.

ooh! that sounds interesting, venus would love to teach clem about medicine! they used to have a previous apprentice but because of the whacky universe stuff its not like venus can go see her now - perhaps venus could see clem as a way to fill that bittersweet hole in their life?? clems too young for venus to be too manipulative to her, and venus only really uses people to get themselves on top/get them what they want eg. equipment or test subjects.

would you like a thread between the two?? maybe clem learning some basic stuff, or borrowing some books on medicine from venus???
