[align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]강해 너는 말야 ♡ - So far from home, alone, in an endless expanse of tundra with mountains that seemed like little more than a mirage in the distance. Home. A concept that had not crossed the girl's mind in so long. No longer able to call one place her home, filled with her belongings and precious keepsakes - no, that had been left so far behind. Hana had been forced to leave behind much more than just the materialistic, an ever present ache in her chest of the stories she'd never reach the end of, the faces she'd never see again, the voices heard for the last time. It was a sting that had yet to subside, a pain that grew with each step further she took away from the place she had once called home. But in a sense, she had bestowed this upon herself by departing. But Hana Song was ready to start anew. Tired of being alone, tired of being homeless, missing every name that could possibly come to her mind - Gods above, her children - the chocolate longhair trekked dutifully across the lands leading up to Snowbound's borders.
Snowbound. A name that rolled off her tongue in a time of such desperation, a Clan she nearly dreaded coming upon. But fleeing was no longer an option. Hana had ran as far as she could go. Miso was no longer by her side, the calm to her ever-raging storm, stranded somewhere Hana could not get to him to aid him. But she knew he was okay. She just knew he would make it to her eventually, for he would not make her leave everything once more. He would know where to find her, how to find her, who she was in search of. Going anywhere else without him was unimaginable. She had left behind one friend already, abandoned another, failed to protect the next. Gods above, Hana wished Kodiak would have came with her instead of choosing to leave her for his solitary lifestyle... No, how selfish of her. Kodiak had not left her. Hana had left him behind, head clouded with dreams she still pursued so vigorously even in the face of harsh reality, and Kodiak had simply returned to what was normal for him. Perhaps some day she would see him again. Apologize to him, for what she was not wholly sure, but she knew one was in order. Perhaps some day she would be able to fulfil her broken promises to him. Perhaps some day, he would see more to Hana than her suffocating isolation and desperation for a greater purpose in another's life. Hopefully, someday, they would reunite.
Knowing Miso was out of her grasp, having willingly left Kodiak behind, little drived Hana forward. But the one force that kept her paws moving was a fire that scorched her whenever she idled, igniting hot coals beneath her toes that punished her for slowness or hesitation. Ivory-dipped paws parted tall grass easily as Hana moved, disc-like ears swiveling at even the slightest source of sound around her. For all the trials and tribulations she had endured, the rings of fire she had jumped through, the nights of crying herself to sleep, none of it compared to the agony she had brought to Pierce Parker. Hana had convinced him to leave his family, his precious daughter; she had forced him to abandon her in her time of greatest need, to willingly watch her suffer and urged him to run and leave her behind: to not only break but shatter the moral code he had one followed so strictly. She had erased his memories, tampered with the one thing that brought him true happiness in an effort to undo the trauma he had experienced not only at her paws, but at the doing of others.
She told him she would be here for him, and Gods above was she going to stay true to her words just this once.
The mountainscape that had been an illusion on the horizon was now standing tall before her, snowy peaks blowing cold wind down its bare face. Nostalgia hitched her breath, put a thick lump in her throat as her hazel eyes wandered the invisible line she had stopped at, heavy with Snowbound's scent. Hana was so close now, so close to seeing her best friend, her brother, again. Socked paws curled into the soil in anxiety as the Oriental longhair mixbreed's tail lashed behind her, ears pivoting forward to listen further into the Clan's territory. Would he even... remember her?
It was an idea she couldn't stomach thinking of.
"[abbr=korean formal "hello"]안녕하세요?[/abbr]" Hana questioned the wind around her in her native tongue, lips pressed into a thin line. Aside from Kodiak, Hana had not spoken in Gods knows how long. Reverting to the common tongue once more was odd. "I'm, ah, here to join," she explained, soft words laced with a light accent. Knowing she would not hear a response immediately, the earthen feline finally let his name fall from her lips for the first time in ages.
"... Pierce?"
