fresh air hit her nose as she found herself being lifted out the water and the all-familiar movement of him turning his head to allow her onto his back jolted her muscles back into action - she quickly detatched herself from his face and clung onto his mane, careful not to unsheathe any claws to further injure him. she pressed her muzzle against his neck and shut her eyes, feeling the way his muscles strained to work against the current.
