[glow=white,1,400]DO YOU THINK YOU'RE SAFE, FROZEN IN PLACE ? — [abbr=HYDROSTATIC "HYDRO" CIPHER, PUP, THE PITT, 4 MONTHS]。+゚.[/abbr][/glow]
Seeing the hybrid get up startled Hydrostatic, making the jaguar wriggle back a few paces as if expecting Dante to lash out at him. Instead, Dante agreed to take him to the Ashen City, quickly walking off without waiting for a response from Hydrostatic. The silver jaguar quickly padded after him, ears pricked. Although there were strange glances from NPCs with Dante leading him somewhere, Hydro was sure that Jormungand wouldn't mind. The two seemed close, after all.
"Why did'ya want to come here?" Dante asked as they exited camp and out into the desert, Hydrostatic trailing behind him and trying to keep up. The hybrid didn't look back when he talked, though not that Hydro minded.
"Aine told me about it, kind of." Hydro replied. "I went exploring and I found the edge of the city and it gave me the creeps." He heard Dante let out a snort of amusement. "But I wanted to know more about it, and she seemed weirded out by the City too."
"Because she was there when it burned down." Dante didn't hesitate in his response, though Hydrostatic could sense venom in his tone. Though whether it was towards Aine or the event itself, he couldn't tell. "It used to be where The Pitt's camp was. Harsher weather here, with it being in the middle of the desert. Had to walk further to get to the Nile and even then, that's not something you wanted to drink out of."
"Right," Hydrostatic mumbled in response, though interested in what Dante had to say. Honestly, it was the most he's ever heard the guy say but hey, he wasn't complaining. Dante was one of the few that seemed to know about The Pitt's past, other than Gael, Sweeney, and Aine - who Hydro wasn't really familiar with. Aine he knew more than Gael and Sweeney, but regardless, the Fleshweaver seemed uncomfortable just being near the City and he didn't want to make things worse.[glow=white,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow]
