BLACK HOLE SUN // Angelembrace

"they flip the siren, hit the lights" ✭ ── Ah, damn it. Admittedly, she had a point, if only the one. Jormungand wasn't exactly much of an active parent when he was so far away, was he? But that was of no consequence to him, he stayed behind on his own volition and was determined to see that through. Although, he made a mental note to visit the Pitt once more when he was just a little bit older. "He did his job, you did your job. I fail to see your point." Angel mused, blinking slowly as if that was simply the most obvious thing in the world.

"Yes, yes, you have and always will be my mother. My beautiful, caring, wonderful mother. Will that suffice, Mother Dearest? I would simply hate to hurt your feelings. I'm a little hurt myself, really, I try so hard to mimic your horrid attitude, and this is the thanks I get for trying to fill such big bitter footsteps?" Angelembrace feigned his misery, pressing the back of his paw to his forehead and turning away. While he was mostly being a little jackass on purpose, on a winning streak in his own opinion, he realized with a sudden strike of dread that he was truly picking up her cynicism. But that was simply a very vague trait, right? Anyone could pick that up. Aphra just...made it more potent. Yes, that was it. A terrible thought, becoming his mother.
