Kold's attempt to cheer the two of them up was... certainly interesting to say the least, and not everyone knew how to react around kids. Fortunately for her though, Hydrostatic wasn't too judge-y - at least, not yet, and appreciated her attempt to cheer them up. Hydro wasn't entirely sure how to respond though, he didn't want anyone to die. But if they killed Jormungand, maybe it was worth it. Hydro didn't want to be without his father; Jormungand was the whole reason he had even came to The Pitt in the first place. He didn't feel like Aphra loved him or his littermates and he didn't want to be where she could glare at him every waking moment.
