arlo seemed definitely nervous, so the hellhound shot him some sort of a smile, if you could even decipher it through the criss-crossed teeth and venom slowly dripping from his lips. the male's ears pricked at his promotion, narrowing his optics at the usage of his first name. why promote him? wasn't like he was really agile or something, much more preferring to do at it with brute force. but he was crafty, he was sneaky and smart. he could do this. he watched with muted uninterest as others were promoted, noticing with a grimace every time arlo shuffled his paws.
what good was a leader who would get nervous even in social gatherings in his own clan?
after arlo finished his speech damion slowly lumbered up to him. "you okay? you seemed extremely nervous." he began with a low murmur. "i'd also like to come to the frostblown meeting, make sure nobody attacks or anything." he didn't mind the cold to be honest, just preferring the heat a bit more.
