”Sorry if I’m interrupting your healing time, just came to make sure you’re still alive.” Morbid, but Arrow made sure to keep her voice light in tone to convey that she was only joking...for the most part. The last half had some truth in it still. It was a little difficult to simply shake off the event that had transpired, having held Atbash’s throat closed until more qualified help arrived to assist, Arrow had sat at home for a decent time after that just staring at the dried black blood on her paw. The injury was almost a breaking point, a lot of demons were making their presence known ( haha, puns! ), and she wondered if she was even good enough to keep her position if everyone continued to get injured, badly, under her watch. She’d been far too late each time. How long until someone else got hurt severely, fatally, and didn’t recover? Didn’t come back?
Arrow shook her head, as if trying to chase those awful thoughts away, leaning up against the door frame after pushing open Atbash’s door. ”You don’t gotta talk or nothin’, just blink twice if you’re not dying.”
