new human character ideas

[spoiler=general notes]— in his thirties,,, 35 maybe?
— faint jersey accent
— wears a lot of leather jackets, bomber jackets, hoodies, etc
— hair is short-medium length, dark brown
— kind of an asshole sometimes but a Lovable Asshole, he means well and is just too stubborn for his own good. he's a nice guy, he can just have a bit of a temper when his patience is tried. he's responsible and very protective over those he cares about.
— kind of a Mess™ but he tries to hide it. has insecurities that he tries to hide under his attitude but he's actual a Giant Baby
— smokes on occasion, drinks A Lot
— stress-drinks, stress-eats, just a ball of stress tbh
— runs the family bar
— (modern day history): has a brother (will try to adopt out, preferably older but w/e). their father was a drunk, but childhood was alright. their car was ran off a bridge and into a river, he was trapped inside the car as it sank and it was Extremely Traumatizing, and his brother had to save him.
— he won't have a /fear/ of water. he'll know how to sorta swim but he won't regularly do it; rivers give him bad memories.
— has nightmares about that stuff ^^ did i mention that he's a Big Baby?
