The deer-fox lingered close to her father, dark feathers shuffling at her sides as hazel hues flickered over each group present, lingering on the Palm Glades, then Aurum. She knew little of them, reluctant to trust anyone new. They didn't deserve any hatred from her however, and she soon shifted her hooves uneasily at the thought of Aurum leading Tanglewood.
Fire and rage. She had nothing else to associate with the lion but fire and rage. Her ears flicked back and she pressed her hooves into the ground, urging small flowers to sprout and bloom beneath her. Four... Seven... Eight... Breathe. No one had any reason to stir trouble today. Hopefully.
