Heavy. Her paws are like lead. A set of glitching blocks of stone; disappearing and reappearing as the scrawny vixen tried to stand. Mitch-matched hues watched them dully, a pang of frustration sinking in. Tired.
Tired of being bedridden. Tired of the glitches as a whole, made worse by her body's frail state. Tired.
She breathed in heavily, wincing against sore ribs. The worst of the cough had long since run its course, but she still felt the aftermath. The thought of a warm cup of tea passed through her mind as she wobbled away from the bed, only interrupted by the sudden prospect of some fresh air now that she was up and walking. Stable. Somewhat.
She hadn't seen anyone since Goldenluxury's visit... Succumbing to illness barely a day after that horrible transaction and finding herself in Torren's dutiful care. She hadn't seen much of the outside at all since then. He'd want to know... If I'm going out... But it was just the front porch of his house... She wasn't going far.
The scrawny arctic fox fumbled with the door for a moment before stepping into the crisp air, taking care to breath in slowly. Her thick coat kept her safely warm, perfectly at home in the winter air as she settled on the edge of the porch. Now... If she could figure out how to stop her ears from suddenly losing their corporality, she might actually feel at ease.
