The Emperor pulled himself up, but seemed to stumble, resting on his chin. "Yes, you can..." He called out, sulfuric eyes turning to them. "I seem to have gotten lost. I would like to get out of this rain storm now, dearie..." He moved to stand again, his robes soaking wet and glancing at the sky occasionally.
Lightning struck the water, yards away.
You missed, apprentice.

Maybe his apprentice was giving him a warning? A threat? Ha! As if! His paws moved- they didn't. He looked down, noting that his apprentice had twisted the very sand and earth his stood in, locking his paws in place.

"I seem to be stuck, friends..."
