redbone- open

His body twitched, ears pressing against his head as he heard something coming from his old hut. His head turned a bit, blinking softly as he caught sight of his father. A tiny grin brushed at his muzzle, healthy, without scarring from the metal that had twisted his last body. He slowly took a step, then rushed towards him, headbutting into his chest first before pressing his cheek up against his father's, body barely crouching in comparison to the larger panthera. He pulled back, however, realizing that people were watching.

His eyes searched his fathers, then looked behind him at the corpse- having being flung against the wall wasn't a good.. sign, of course, but- then back at him. He twitched her ears in a silent understanding, before tugging at his arm, to pull him away from the darkened hut, into the light. He stepped back, looking at his father's eyes, before dropping his to his paws quietly. "I'm sorry." He said, his ears pressing against his head. The caracal-jaguar didn't say anything for a few moments, the worried look on his face transferring to his body.

"I didn't want to die." He said, his voice soft and shaky. "I didn't.. mean to.. I couldn't get up." He whispered, his voice falling back to the fragile, sickened body's own. But his state didn't regress to it as well. He shook his head, shutting himself up.
