Caustic's ears were pinned back as well, face scrunched into an annoyed frown. His lips pulled up in the slightest, gas leaking out between his teeth in small wisps. Their relationship was not normal by any standard, but Caustic preferred it that way. He didn't have to get too attached and Octavio was always ready to throw his life into the lion's mouth.
Octavio was a fighter though, having killed Caustic plenty of times inside the ring. He was a lion for war, not a lamb. The wolf's tail waving back and forth. He looks down at the mug, still half full of whiskey, and slips his paw into the handle. Caustic dumps the remainder onto the floor, then sets it down. "I think we're done talking, Michael." he says, picking up the mug with his teeth, and leaving to return to his own cave.
