For better or for worse, Caustic was a blunt creature. But being blunt did not mean one was honest although that was usually the case. The truth as it was presented, even if that’s what one could see did not mean it truly wasn’t something else.
Kydobi saw a monkey in a cage and he would think slave. However Caustic saw it as a lab assistant. A step up from a slave then.
“Then they’re free to do what they wish if that’s the case. I’m sure you’ve learned by now what the policy on slavery is. Work without pay or compensation of any kind is slavery. Regardless of title.”
