'Mabuhay,' they greet him, causing Jervis' head to tilt to the side in curiosity. What a strange 'hello'. The ardent had never heard of such a thing. It truly peaked his interest. Where did they come from? Did an estranged past lead them here or were they wanting a new beginning? Like with many others, he found himself wanting to know more. In the moment though, he kept his mouth shut. Asking right now would be rather rude of him.
The vulpine straightened out. "Joining?" he reiterated back. "I'm sure we could arrange a place for-" 'an interesting, potentially useful, stranger...' "a polite fellow like yourself." Something about them interested him. Jervis, though, had that feeling about everyone. Paranoia was a bitch when he wanted to know everything and everyone around him.
"Welcome to The Pitt, Apolaki," Jervis cooed. He wasn't going to use 'Polly.' It seemed too informal. A man of high standing (and utter douchebaggery) like himself preferred to remain professional. "So," he continued on, "What's your story?" Nosy as always. It was his very annoying way of saying 'Tell us about yourself.'
