the last attack was less of a surprise, and more of a slip of awareness. the dragon had tuned into the newest to come forward, spine stiff as they coiled their body up, tail resting at a loose half circle before sephiroth, ready to deflect any potential attacks made on the lion.
giving a startled mix of a roar and growl, they felt scales scrape off the bridge of their nose thanks to takao's attack through usagi. the large golden armored plates would drop to the ground, near instantly losing their shine as silver blood began to bead on their muzzle, dripping in intricate patterns down their scales.
giving an irate growl now, they turned their attention back to takao, lips curling back to reveal several sharp teeth. "back down now. i do not want this to escalate. i will end this if you insist on the damn crown!" they hissed in a low, dangerous voice as they turned their body to face usagi and the demon. "i really didn't want to spill ally blood, but right now, you aren't an ally, you are a potential threat. it is my duty, to exterminate such careless threats." they hissed.
gaze turning to beck they stifled another annoyed sound, "their deaths were not intended by us in any means. for the killers though, when we find them, justice will be served. before you call us out on a lack of control of our group, i would suggest looking within your ranks for signs of dissent." they responded evenly, tongue swiping over their jaws. the threat to kill usagi had not gone unnoticed, just a thought in their mind on how to subdue the other demonic entity if the tanglers couldn't handle him.
