if aphra could read goldenluxury's thoughts, she would disagree with the bengal's opinion of caesar. while caesar was a horrible father, aphra didn't believe he was a terrible person. he was hot-headed, sure, and often reacted before he thought, but that was to be expected. after all, he controlled the element of fire; it is only natural that he is somewhat like it, no?
"thank you." aphra puffed up in pride at goldie's compliment, grinning in a way that showed off her teeth. clearly, the she-cat was quite pleased with the quartermaster's words, almost as if she had been expecting it. though once the she-cat caught the bitterness in goldie's tone, she frowned.
