Valentine was not unfamiliar with the Typhoon's more aggressive nature. Actually, he embraced it quite a bit, and seeing that his father had called for a raid to be organized made him all the more excited to see what was going on. He hadn't been around for the murder or whatever had sparked this particular outburst, but he had a desire to fight as though he did.
He followed fast behind Masie. The clicks that he overheard as he arrived made sense to him. Steal shiny things and be careful. Got it. He was totally, absolutely, one-hundred percent ready to do this, he thought. The pup's alabaster tail was in two places at once, it was wagging so fast.
"Dad! I'm gonna steal th' most shiny stuff! I promise," he yipped up to his father. Hopefully the rex could hear him up there- he was very tall, after all.
At Felik's words (he hadn't noticed the griffon approach, somehow), Valentine hesitated. Murder? Sneaking around in the jungle? That sounded kind of... not great. But he could handle it. Plus, Masie was there to protect him, and she was real good at that. So they'd be fine! Rosy eyes turned back to his raptor sister with an eager gleam. He hoped they'd leave soon!
