practice [★] learn to fly

Powers were something that until right now, Masie had only encountered in a negative manner, as in getting burned by Baku when all she wanted to do was comfort him. Thus, when her wandering found the other child practicing controlling air, seeing something that made no sense with the laws of the world which she had currently learned? She had been understandably uneager to emerge from her hiding spot in the foliage, someone else could get harmed by those strange things this time! Only, the longer she watched the more it seemed harmless as if there was nothing dangerous about it, which made no sense cause she knew powers or whatever some other animals had inside of them that affected other things, was dangerous.

With wide eyes and her head held low, Masie emerged from her hiding spot in the bushes, tilting her head as she neared Keona playing with the leaf. "What?" arms held to her chest she leaned back slightly when she got close, looking between the little fae and the leaf several times, optics taking note of the weird substance on her paws.
