So much commotion with so many people in a place he's suppose to feel even a tad bit comfortable sent red flags off in his mind. Blaring sirens echoed in his conscious as dull red eyes shifted from one decoration to the next. He liked the theme, he suppose. Autumn is a nice season. Spring is annoying, summer is too hot and winter is too cold. But autumn? Dull colours, soft scents, lovely weather... He couldn't find a reason not to enjoy it. Aside from having huge gathering like this, autumn was nice. He knew he could avoid everyone and stay cooped up in his bed or somewhere in a tree, but despite his sour thoughts, he felt it would be a waste not to appreciate all the hard work that was put into making something like this possible. He was only here to sight see then go back to his bed and play the waiting game. Maybe bring back a bottle of alcohol.
At least, that was his initial plan.
Large white paws carried the lynx out into the open when he heard Delilah's call. What... What was she wearing? A bee costume? He felt his face heat up for a moment as he lifted his paw to his maw to stop himself from laughing. Inhaling slowly through his nose, Ren cleared his throat as he somehow managed to keep his usual stoic and professional appearance. Walking over to join the pastel faerie, he lifted his paw to gingerly swat at one of the antenna attached to the headband she wore. Cute, he thought, watching it sway back and forth for a moment before nodding his head in approval. Taking a seat next to her, he quietly waited for others to arrive as he contemplated piecing together a flower-inspired costume to match her bee one.
