[align=center][div style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 9pt; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]Another creature arrives shortly after Valkyr, and just as silent. However, this particular creature's absence of speech or sound originates from an innate preference of moving without drawing attention. Unlike the unfamiliar shina inu and the other-worldly looking slave, the sleek predator's tawny golden pelt is not easily discerned from the scorching sands and confounding mirages. She, Melantha, moves with an uncanny grace; the unstable terrain seeming not to hinder her swift movements. Such is a creature who is built for these conditions: not to large to require more energy than necessary yet armed with powerful muscles, a pelt which seems to be composed of the sands itself, and thick lashes to prevent unwanted pollutants from impeding her vision.
Sagacious olive eyes flicker over to Valkyr, studying his submissive posture with a displeased scowl. "Or you could do accomplish tasks on your own and be rewarded for your efforts," says the creature in that low, rasping voice of hers. Although she has yet to outright state it, anyone can guess that she disapproves of slavery. People should do their own dirty work. It is dishonorable and lazy to rely on slaves. However, it is not her place to challenge the institutions set in place by Yes Man or whoever came before him, so Mel reins in her more...anti-authority ideals. Pallid green eyes narrow into slits as the female glares at the haughty dog before her. "What's your name?" asks the creature, though it is probably most like a demand. She does not acknowledge his intent to join, for he is but a stranger. And she is not fond of those who believe they run the place when they, in fact, do not.
