MANED WOLF BEHAVIORS:
attracted; sniffs the places where they've been, face/neck rubbing

aggression; raised hair, flattened ears, tense posture, constantly pacing, teeth bared, pawing at the ground + lowered head, flattened ears, tail tucked between legs
straddle marking; maned wolves have a special gland on their lower abdomen that releases their scent, so they attempt to straddle whatever they want to mark
nocturnal, mainly active during dawn and dusk
naps throughout the day
pounces like a fox, taps paws on the ground to flush prey out
does not work well with other maned wolves of the same sex
