ASPIRING FIRES !

nui harime — female — snowbound — eaglehearted — hard physicality

tentative claws drift over the velvety hide of the pillow. a needle, sharp and metallic, pierces through it's soft alabaster skin. in out. weaving and intricate pattern. carving a face. a body.

her goal is crude at best, to sew an image into this blank canvas. to make it her comfort.

neat and delicate, she lovingly craft's her creator's face into the pillow's frame. she must make it perfect. she must make it beautiful, and with her skill, this is no hard task. strings of multicolored yarn lay strewn about her, fastened to pins. deep down, she misses ragyo. and what better than to recreate the image of her glorious maker for her own consolation during these lonely, cold nights?

with a satisfied huff, she finishes the last stitch, permanently etching ragyo's face into the lengthy pillow, ties the last seam and then cuts it with her teeth. she looks down on her creation, admiring her fine work and craftmanship. then, she gathers the last of her sewing items scattered betwixt the workshop she calls a home, and puts it away.
