The fae approached next, new faces already encircling her fellow nurse as the gang of weirdos began to introduce themselves to eachother. She snorted. The Great Gaggle of Assholes. She wouldn't rather be around anyone else, they were family. They were her Gaggle of Assholes. The booze did make her roll her eyes, though, yet she was parched. She beckoned Malphas for a can of hard nectar as she plopped down in place, flicking her eyes back and forth to try to recognize anyone familiar.
Malphas. Vigenere. That was it, huh? Everyone else was new. She hadn't seen the spider around before. She had read about this sort of spider before: the tarantula, which was one of the many species she hadn't seen in person yet, surprisingly enough. This one talked. How quaint, yet interesting. He didn't horrify her at all, actually -- she'd seen far worse things to be unnerved by an eight-legged bug. "Nice t' meet you, Abathur."
Her ears perked to the question that Arrow had thrown towards Malphas. "The beer? Hah, that might as well be a natural resource here." She gestured towards the nearby ghost town with her forepaw. "Place's got lots of it. The humans left it when they all died off or something." She pried her beer can open with her teeth, fizzy lukewarm alcohol spilling all over the mossy dirt below her. Taking a sip, she grimaced slightly. How does anyone enjoy this stuff in such large quantities? "Even if we ran outta the stuff in the town, we've gotta couple rogues that come by for trading. Beer, champagne, you name it. They might as well be bartenders." She held her nose and took another sip in an attempt to avoid the distasteful flavor of the beer. "Not that I care or anythin'."
Finally, the girl caught the eye of Aya. A traveler, huh? That may as well have been the most common "fun" fact she'd ever heard at one of these. Everyone here was a traveler at some point. But, she let it slide. Who was she to judge the past of a newbie? She grinned warmly in her direction. "Nice t' meet you all. If you guys haven't known yet, I'm called Iota." Finishing her can of booze off, she kicked it over with a forepaw. "Don't really have a real name. Wasn't born like everyone else. That's the one I was given in the Lab, so that's the one I'm stickin' with."
