the next to approach was meri at the sound of commotion. he arrived in time to hear roy announce the typhoon had stolen pele, and it put him on edge. pele... wasn't that a fucking kid? the typhoon kidnapped a child? merihem knew he was a fighter, not a lover, yet an undeniable anger bubbled up inside of him like champagne. "well, we have to get her back, don't we?" the lithe cat said, batting an eyelash.
he looked at melody. if this was anybody who wasn't a child, merihem would have grinned and said something horrible, but he had restraint around a kid. "it's a mean word. don't use it," he told her, then glanced back. "not around your parents, anyways. i don't fuckin' care if you say it around me." he was a great influence.
he didn't have that much of a connection to pele, so he didn't feel as strongly about the situation as roy did. "what are we gonna do? charge in there and demand they give her back or something? cause' i feel like that will end up in all asses being collectively kicked."
