The girl woke with a gasp in her greenhouse, shocked at what had become of her in the long week that had passed. She'd been... sleeping? But why for such a long period of time? She could have missed so much that had passed on within the last couple of days. What if a friend had passed on and she didn't know it? What if someone needed her, and she wasn't there by their side at their most vulnerable moment? The thought shook her. If she had to guess, it would be the sudden transformation that came with the summer solstice. Like flowers, she supposed, she could've gone into some sort of short hibernation period, a sort of "inactive" form. But why wake up now? Did her mind sense that it still had some duties left before her long slumber?
Too many questions to answer, and too much to do. Iota stretched, making her way out the door as the dark night lingered, the sounds of frogs and cicadas luring her out of the comfort zone she made for herself. The moon, though, was nowhere to be found. The feline searched far and wide for the interstellar ball of white, but it wasn't within eyesight.
"A new moon."
The smell of sweets -- and alcohol -- lured her in to a place nearby. Her bonfire was still going on? It'd been at least a week. Though, she countered herself, Tanglewood had quite the party animals, so it would be like them to drag a block party out to a week.
However, when arriving to the scene, she was surprised to find that it was different than where she originally started the fire, and that it was only Beck and Ivan. A new party? She was surprised -- and sort of disturbed -- to see Beck so excited about something, that wasn't like him at all. Though, the sight -- or lack thereof -- of the New Moon did bring out some answers to her question. This might've been the so-called "Lunar Festival" she'd heard about after joining. The thought of a festival excited her, there were so many activities to do and she was ready to indulge herself in everything it offered. "Here, Beck! I'm ready." The smell of sweets still lured her, her mouth beginning to water as she fought her urges to pig out.
