It was no mystery that Alpha arrived at the Typhoon empty-handed, keeping nothing to his name as he began to walk the beaches of the island as some kind of "pirate." Alpha was not a materialistic person, and he didn't believe in having mementos to keep as some sort of "happy memory." He had no happy memories, only everlasting pain and anguish after everything he ever loved and was loyal towards betrayed him. He had nothing.
So what was he to save whenever something as horrifyingly massive as a tsunami would come crashing down unto his new home?
The plasma horns still shone brightly under the storm as the constant downpour began to pelt his forehead, the unrelenting deluge soaking up everything in its path as the oncoming wave approached the island. Never in his life did Alpha know panic quite like this. Something so awfully strange to him as a tidal wave that had grown into something far more monstrous and gargantuan was one thing he did not expect to become his biggest fear. His talons scraped the sandy soot as he skittered to the Tempest, keeping an eye out for anyone he could rescue. He was no hero, but he couldn't let anyone die. Not as long as he still had something to protect, something to fight for.
