— ADVENT ASPIRATION
Asher's glance shot quickly in the direction of the admiral's voice, the night becoming a darkened veil around her as she approached, making herself known to the black tom. Did he fall from the tree? Yes. Was he going to admit that? Not at all.
"Ah, no, I didn't fall! Hehe ... I just, ah ... had a hard landing, that's all!" He could feel his face burn up in embarrassment as Suite questioned the stray. Embarrassing himself was the least he wanted to do when approaching new faces, but it seems like he already crossed the point of no return. "Ah ... Enough of that, though!" He stood, puffing out his chest proudly, yet cheesily, as he made himself known to Suiteheart. He cleared his throat and attempted to sound as masculine and proud as possible, his nasally voice barely changing to fit the mood. "Ascendants territory? Fear not, for I am no villain! My name is Asher!" He sank down, having embarrassed himself even more.
Really? You're not a superhero, dude.
A nervous grin was wiped onto his face as he tried to make amends for his embarrassing mishaps. "A-ah... Nice to meet you, miss Suiteheart. I didn't mean to trespass or anything, I'm just kinda ..." He looked behind him, around him, everywhere in-between. He had no idea where he was. He was miles away from Koriko by now, and he couldn't smell its scent coming from anywhere.
"I'm kinda lost, y'know? I don't really have a place to call home anymore." His nervous smile left his face as he dipped his head, staring at the moonlit dirt beneath him. "I left it all behind." It'd be a wonder if a place called something like "The Ascendants" would take in a former witch's companion of his fortitude; he felt lucky just surviving in the wilderness alone.
