Iota tensed up at the sudden influx of thoughts that entered her mind. Horrible, excruciating thoughts of dying again and again, only to try and fail once more. She could smell the putrid smells Eight once smelled, and feel the pain she had once endured. Her every nerve was on end, shocking her body with each memory that flashed into her mind.

Having snapped out of her telepathic trance, she looked into Eight's eyes once more, her horns having soaked up as much traumatic information as possible that came from the octocat. "I see..." She didn't know what to say other than that; it wasn't something she could relate to at all. To take lives was one thing, but to be the one whose life has been taken numerous times over a long period of time was an awful feeling of its own. She looked away from Eight, forbidding herself to make eye contact as she had suddenly felt the pain she went through, and didn't want to twist the knife any further.
