A MOTHER'S LOVE / open

The kit squirmed and mewled as she was forced out of the warmth she and her siblings had shared out into the world, the sudden change bewildering her. But she was quickly pushed towards the comfort of her mother's belly, where she curled up tightly beside her sibling, the hushed voices of many others in the room keeping her too intrigued to fall asleep. As tempting as the lull of sleep was, she still craned her head, eyes sealed shut yet still searching for the source of the noises.
