The bear’s massive head turned, his good eye focusing on her face and a doubtful, worried expression coming to his face. He turned waited for her to remove her talons, then turned around, revealing his dirty front side, and attempted to envelop Amunet into a hug.
He didn’t like the sound of the rest of her story. He quickly released her, moving back to laying down and letting her clean him. ”I.... had cub.” That was something he had tried to desperately hold onto. “April? Girl.” He didn’t remember her name, just that he had loved her and she wasn’t his.
