Even so, despite Rose thinking this was probably their first meeting, she could see friendliness in the other's manner, and if the cat was saying, 'I'm back,' then it was only appropriate to return the greeting, right?
That is-- that's what she planned on doing, but someone else beat her to it.
Immediately sensing they were having a moment, the dark-furred she-cat stopped in her tracks with a smile.
Oh, okay. She shouldn't interrupt this. Still, she would be there, ready to say 'Welcome back' once those two finished their exchange.
