FATHER SAID THAT THIS WORLD ISN'T FOR ME
Her poetic response would have made him smile, if it were not for her tone. The boy fumbled over to her voice, mane falling before his eyes before he swept it aside. "Thank- Oh, Thank everything." He nearly sobbed, already fearing he would lose her too. Upon seeing her sorrowful state, he tried to pull her into a hug. Whether or not he was successful, he looked at her. "How've you been holding up..?"
He found himself starting to stare at a window, and there was a glimmer of hope that, somehow, his family would show up. It was a stupid thought.
