Everett always held off on molting until last second, but he would always jump at the chance to preen, especially with others. Currently, the bicolor male was making his way to a hot spring outside of Coalition territory that Guru Kråke told him about. Having been alone for so long on his journey to the CotC, and his dwindling brood due to being unsuited for the snowy taiga climate, the puffin Icarian was yearning hard for someone a group to preen with.

Slited pupils suddenly contacted as he caught sight of two smudges below at the hot spring. Letting out a deafening squawk (he'll never admit that), the Icarian started lazily circling down as his feathers begging for a break, to be fixed, to shed and stop being so damn itchy. Stumbling onto the rocky ground, Everett chittered nervously as he took in the two other Icarians, before gingerly easing himself into the warm water. Short tail flicking anxiously, he chirped and trilled until he suddenly realized he had to speak, "Hi, uh, I'm Everett? I didn't think I'd find more of us here."
