The feral raptor trailed after her 'master', nipping at the heels of the Jaguar as they trudged on, hunger knawing at her. And as she stood nearby Avanti, watching the jaguar with wild eyes, the words of the Drotten reached her and she growled angrily. She was hungry, she had nearly starved herself since she left Tanglewood. She did not see herself fit to eat those free of sentience. If it wasn't given to her, she would not eat. Sacrifices meant nothing to her.

But she settled down and flattened her body against the cold ground, eyes staring up at Avanti.
