I'M HANGING OUT ... ❖
Antpaw was a ball of energy, something that the elderly tom had been avoiding as much as he could as of late, often sticking to the nursery to look after his niece, spending his time with the young kit, preferring the relative peace of the nursery to the tension of camp. Today, he'd been drawn out of the nursery by a warrior complaining of stomach pains and another of a bee sting, leading him to be weaving between warriors and checking on them, asking about rumored pains and complaints. The most common complaints were that there were too many cats in one area, and that so many of them were tired of it. To those responses, he could only laugh and say that they'd figure something out.
The sound of a distressed mewl caught his attention, the elderly tom turning his head, looking for the source of the mewl. Exhaling softly as he weaved his way through cats, nodding to canarysong in greeting as he approached, "Let me take a look", he murmured gently to Antpaw, peering at his muzzle at the sight and scent of blood, "I'll put some cobwebs on it.", he would murmur shortly after his small investigation.
