EASTER BUNNY HUNT 2020 [badge event!]

On a sunny spring day, a long forgotten bobcat emerged from his den. His head raised, green eyes focused on the sun in the distance. Today was a big day. As the new season fumbled in, so did new holidays and Brutus had glorious plans. One of which was today. With his prep finished and invitations sent out for the holiday, he was ready to start his master plan. Not without a little help of course. Rabbits, hares, and bunnies galore gathered by his side. Along with that, chickens and their children. Each animal helped to distribute eggs across the land. Every egg included a small prize. Whether that was food, a trinket, a prank, or an accessory depended on the egg! What fun a surprise!

Upon laying out the finishing touches, the groups began to arrive. When they arrived to the open forest of the neutral grounds, they were greeted by pastel flowers and an obscene amount of eggs laid out for their enjoyment. Not only that, but bunnies scattered the area. They roamed freely, hopping along peacefully. All was serene. Childlike fantasy and nostalgia filled the area for many. As the kids roamed, even some gleeful adults, they snatched eggs in their paws and opened them. Brutus, satisfied as could be, just remained in the background with a grin on his maw. Nothing could be better than this.

Unfortunately, he didn’t expect his first plan to go wrong. After all, the bobcat hoped for pacifism. Little did he know, releasing the rabbits upon the neutral lands would lead to a mass murder spree for hungry rouges and vile animals. In horror, he would watch as his Easter bunny hunt turned literal.

Hmph. Another event? Raymond couldn't help but roll his eyes at the thought. Even so, he kept his head high and went to please his fellow Tanglewood acquaintances. Plus, who's to say there wouldn't be some lovely ladies or delicious booze there? Unfortunate for him, there was neither. Upon his arrival, a sigh left him. The event seemed to be catered towards children. Hell, what did they think eggs were for? Unless those eggs had any sort of cigarette or booze in them, he was sure that the adults would go after them. Hell, they probably wouldn't even flock around the bunnies...

Unless that was the key to making things fun? A smirk reached his lips. This was gonna be good.

CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE PITT. DWELLER.

Events weren't Caesar's thing, but he was curious as to what was going on. He liked having his nose in places it shouldn't be, so that would definitely explain why this Pittian was here. At first, the demon showed no interest in what was going on, but once he noticed rabbits roaming about, his hunting instincts kicked in. Licking his lips, Caesar got into a hunting crouch before slowly trying to advance on the large rodent. Unfortunately for him, the rabbit sensed him and started to hurry away in fear, causing Caesar to leap into action and zoom right by Raymond in pursuit of his prey.

Any chance to leave Tanglewood was a welcome one. After receiving the invitation to the Easter celebration, Atticus couldn't help but wander off and attend. He dearly hoped others from far away clans would be there. More importantly, his friend from The Pitt. So far, she didn't seem to be here. Disappointed, the kitten continued to look around for familiar faces. In the distance, he spotted Raymond. The panther was a narc to him. That voided his first option. Another grazed his eyesight, Caesar in specific, but he noticed that The Pittian was doing something else. Seems like he was by himself.

The kitten wandered off into the orchard, looking around for some eggs. In the distance he spotted a pale blue egg sitting high in a tree. In an attempt to gain the first egg of the hunt, he headed off in the tree's direction with a cheeky smile.

Goldie was walking nearby, on her way to Tanglewood, when she accidentally landed on a sleeping rabbit, snapping its neck. "Oops."

Her roleplayer really wanted that badge.

  [font=trebuchet ms]Rin was wandering in the area, because of course she was. She waved a paw in greeting to Goldenluxury. She then picked up an egg and went home.
