yeah i think having an interesting joining thread is cool and the crash landing was a fun idea. bast just goes 0 to 100 real quick when he gets defensive of his peeps so he doesn’t hate des (that requires too much of his energy lbr), he just doesn’t tolerate strangers sassing his hps (or general members re: bub).

but as i said ado, they weren't "assholes" to him for any other reason than that he belonged to an group that's fucked w asc pretty often before he came to asc!! that's literally it. nothing else. dunno how moon reminds him of his abuser either bc he literally just reacted to an enemy being rude and walked off but you know. it's all good.
