A low rumble left him as he stared at the graves. "Why do I keep doing this." He murmured, settling down before the graves. "Maybe it is because... I miss you. Both of you." He cooed, eyes closing. "I could not save you." And he couldn't save himself. Leaning to one side, he let the air through his feathers, deathly silent.

ares was sad and this made dion sad in some weird way. dion, true to his form, had been wandering and found the graveyard in time to see ares there. the bulky hybrid monster made his way towards the other and caught the words spilled from sad maw. eyes narrowing in thought, the cold boy was suddenly so kind.

"you are not to blame.." his voice, gruff as always, reached forth from throat never meant to speak. he shuffled up to rest fully beside ares. he knew it was never her fault. "you can not protect others from the world always. you can not beat yourself up over it. they wouldn't want you to."

he hoped this was true. he was not sure. he did not understand the way others acted here, but he hoped he was helping.
