Seakit sniffled, trying his hardest not to let the tears spill over. When she offered out her paw, he rushed into the hug, burying his head into her fur. Sniffles left him but only a few tears managed to escape. After a moment, he stepped back, wiping at his face with his paws as he tried to recover. "I think... I think you're right..." Another round of sniffles, then he continued ",I think... I think I'm gonna ask my momma." He lifted his head to look at her, ears still pinned back. "Thank you Ms. Aphra."

How strange was it that the very thing she hated was causing her to feel some sort of regret? Aphra was genuinely starting to regret her words as Seakit snuggled up against her for comfort. "I'll always be here if you need anything, y'know." She offered. At the very least, maybe she can try to make amends with her broken morals in helping Seakit with anything he needed help with. Seakit sniffled, nodding his head rapidly and rubbing at his eyes. "I think... I think I'm gonna go talk to my momma." He took a deep breath, muzzle wrinkling at the odd pain in his chest. He was too young now to understand the physical pain emotions could cause. "Where... Where can I find you again, Ms. Aphra?"

That was... a good question, actually. Aphra's tail tip twitched in thought, trying to run through the places that she frequented often. "If you can't find me anywhere in camp, good place to check is the jungle." She replied. It wasn't entirely a lie, though she was more likely to be known at the tavern more than anything.
