[align=center][div style="max-width: 600px; text-align: justify;"]THE FEAR OF FALLING APART
A trail of crimson droplets strayed towards the meeting hall which led up to Frederick and Abella. Both were covered in the spatters of another's blood. The sovereign was hunched over on the ground, his back arched upwards and head laying on the ground as he clawed at the ground in frustration. As he lied there, his own blood was seeping from his right shoulder, adjacent to where the killing blow on his neck would be. If he didn't parry off to the side, the male would of been killed. Though, that's not he was worried about.
The Blackfallen were initiating their plans.
Right as a woman approached him. Right as he thought he was safe. Right as he was getting things established. Right as he.... felt something. Felt... normal. The thought scared the sovereign to the bone, but yet he would keep fighting. Through gritted teeth, he spoke. "Prepare for them, Abella." As he rose, his words were cold and venomous, unlike his usual self. For once, he wanted to avenge something. For once, he had a purpose. He would not lose another due to his mistakes and decisions.
And yet, he would lose anyhow.
But he did not know that. "The Blackfallen are coming," came his mutters to the gathered audience. Eyes widened, fists clenched, and gasps erupted. "This time with no mercy." No negotiating anymore. They would have to fight teeth and nail to get through this meaningless war, even if it involved losing what was dearest to them, just as he had before.
