BURN — open / invite

Inviting the Ascendants was somewhat of an odd risky move that Pincher had debated about within his head when he had planned out of the carnival. Either way, if the Ascendants decided they wanted to come or not was not his place to say so the male decided to take the shot in the dark and drop off a golden treasure chest that once open contained "gold coins" of chocolates and laying on the coins was a rolled up map and a black letter that was written in delicate liquid gold cursive. You've been invited to Calypso's Carnival! Anyone is free to come! The map in the chest is there to help guide you to the island the safest way possible and once there, simply follow the bamboo torches that lead to the main event area where Captain Pincher will state how the carnival works. If you accept, see you soon!

Gordon wasn't exactly aware of The Ascendant's politics, other than the fact that Tanglewood were now allies. Everybody seemed to be really tense about that, though Gordon couldn't really understand why. But then again, she never really asked, and the bits and pieces she heard was confusing and she couldn't really piece them together. But oh well, what mattered was that they were allies now.

Gordon was making her way to the border to check for any joiners when she spotted the chest that Pincher had left. The she-cat waddled over to it, a curious frown crossing her face. "H-hey, um... we-we got an invite!" Gordon called out after reading the note. She couldn't accept it, she knew that much.

Cooper wandered over at the sound of Gordon's voice. "Hello, Gordon!" greeted the canine as he did. He sniffed at the chest, curiosity strong in him. A treasure chest full of chocolate coins? Isn't chocolate poisonous to animals?

[div style="text-align: justify;"]Now that he was finally better and able to walk at least SOMEWHAT properly, Joel was finding it a lot easier to get around, able to drag himself out to the border to see joiners and other vistors much quicker than before. As he approached Cooper and Gordon, he managed overhear Gordon mention the invite, examining the note for himself to see what it was all about. "Calypso's Carnival? They could have at least told us what kinda games they're gonna have... but I'll go I guess." The wolf said flicking an ear and stepping back to gaze at the others.

Bastille didn’t necessarily like Pincher, nor did he in any fashion trust the Captain. But they were technically neutrals at the time, and Pinch had never given him reason to change that, so he supposed they may as well play nice and socialize. Or whatever. He had enough of some upper in his system that the concept didn’t feel too terrible. ”Eh, alright. I’ll head over with anyone who wants to go I guess.”

Oh, good, she wasn't the only one out here now. Gordon relaxed a bit as Cooper came over and offered a small smile up at him. "Hey, Cooper." She chirped. He had been the one to help her pick out her pendant, so of course she felt comfortable around him. Joel was the next to come over, and although Gordon didn't know him much, he had been there when she had gotten her pendant. She took note that he was going to go, but said nothing in reply. Thankfully, though, Bastilleprisoner came over and accepted the invite and said he was probably going to end up going. "Have fun," She responded. She probably wouldn't go, mostly because she felt safer and comfortable here. The Typhoon was a neutral, not an ally, so who's to say this wasn't a trap?
