a hidden connection

the little fox pup was out of the nursery with the rising sun. strolling through camp on silent paws. she slipped away from the prying eyes of the world and headed off through the territory. moving towards the ocean without much of a second thought. the girl of pink-white fluff simple felt a need to get out. she rather enjoyed the time she was alone. though she loved hanging out with inferno or learning from plexus. she loved just following laertes around. yet, from time to time, she wanted to be alone.

no.

it wasn't a want at all. it was some deep seeded desire that burned its way through her very soul. she needed this time alone. her thoughts swirled as she moved until the view caught her attention. her mind cleared as her paws touched the sands. her eyes wide for a moment as the ocean sparkled in the morning sun. the calmness of the waves made here draw near to the waters. soft waves starting to lap her paws until..

splash.

the girl looked out over the water at the dolphins playing off shore. flame tipped ears perked as she sway on her paws. flame tipped tail brushing the sands. her eyes were locked on the free spirit. the calmness. the joy. the female was at peace here. she felt something deeper. she felt a connection to the mysterious waters before her. something she simply couldn't explain.
