iota shot a glance at the polar bear, her eyelids converging from a wide, friendly gaze to a sharp, menacing stare.
keep calm. he's not the enemy.
"i'd prefer it if you didn't." she hoped that'd be enough. if he didn't take the hint, though, she didn't know what she'd have to do. but she didn't plan on getting into any fights with anyone she just met. after all, her goal was to immerse into the society, not cast herself out even further by seeming hostile.
she turned her head slowly away from zimavich and focused on the path ahead, attempting to control her heart rate and calm herself.

As Iota expressed discomfort with her staring, Nayru blushed and quickly looked away. [b][color=#6b7e99]"They're beautiful, I was just appreciating them," She extended in a soft voice, though she mentally opted to drop the subject following such. It was obvious that this newcomer was self-conscious to the horns that sprouted from her head and the cream tabby would never forcibly make anyone feel displeasure or awkwardness by drawing attention to something they disliked about themselves. She had been at the receiving end of that treatment one too many times- she knew how awful it was.

Nayru fell into step with the others, silent only for a moment before an overwhelming curiosity swept over her and the intrigued researcher side of her emerged. [color=#6b7e99]"Where are you from Iota? Is it pretty there?" She inquired, excited to possibly hear about a new place. She, herself, knew only of Tanglewood and the Akala forest from which she resided as princess within. Her journeys hadn't (and wouldn't) taken her anywhere else.
