Ninazu sat under the Yule tree, beneath the twinkling stars and glistening ice decorations. The green fire around her body illuminated her and the area as though she were a living candle, and the lioness patiently waited for twilight to die before she ruined the silence.

“Tasks for the holidays. Come by if you want one.” She looked to the sky, not at the animals around her, as she longed to stretch wings that had died. But that raid was over and done now, and she tried to put it out of her mind.

There was nothing to do frankly with the lands slipping from their grasps one by one. She was more pissed off and she doubted that the holidays were going to make her any happier. This was supposed to be their big moment, their empire and now it was going to shambles and she couldn't even understand why. Trying not to look like she was fuming the ice witch would make her way over toward her mother with a light nod in her direction, tilting her head slightly and wondering what the hell she was going to do. ''I'll take something, mom. I wouldn't mind something fun to do right now.'' She figured that it would at least take her mind off all of this, and the fact that their enemies seemed much to bold. Her rounded ears pulled back and brushed against her horns and she took a deep breath to calm herself down.

Ninazu nodded at Sojourn, pleased at least one of her children decided to grab a task. “Sojourn, could you put together a collection of small gifts for the recent joiners? Some of the local fruit, coconut smoothies, edgy jewlery… something like that.”
