// this thread was made assuming Iota's exorcism goes as planned uwu
So this was what it felt like to be reborn, huh?
Iota felt like a soul in new skin, like all of her sins had been washed completely from her body. Well, almost -- nothing could change the immense body count that she'd garnered over the span of her existence. But, it wasn't something she'd have to worry about anymore. The demons were gone, and her head finally began to calm down as all of the voices started to quiet down softer and softer. She had been rewarded with silence, with sanity, a gift that could be replaced by nothing else. She could finally breathe again and not have to worry about what her inner self would think.
It was truly a dream come true.
Today Iota was alone, yet again, in her greenhouse. Old habits were hard to kill, and her bad addiction to isolation kept her from withdrawing from it so easily; it was like a hard drug to her. Although it seemed like a negative aspect to her daily activities, tending to her plants in the greenhouse gave her time to think ... about her clanmates, about her life, about ... well, everything. It was therapeutic even after purification.
The hibiscus on the top of her head where her horns were previously, as well as the rest of the flowers covering her body like strings and jewelry, soaked up the rays of the sun hungrily, energizing the pastel pink feline in ways normal food couldn't. It was another positive of being purified: she wouldn't have to shed blood in order to give herself energy anymore. Instead, nature provided her with the most plentiful energy available, and it was far better on her record of pacifism than slaughtering helpless prey to give her small boosts in energy throughout the day. The petals of the hibiscus fluttered in the cool breeze of the greenhouse as glass holes lined the walls after years of tatter and wear at the mercy of Mother Nature.
Every last water droplet from the watering can was poured onto her greenery as Iota hummed to herself a lovely tune as she pondered today's activities. Inspecting each plant closely with a sharp gaze, she scribbled in her plant journal the points she thought were most important that she had located about her indoor meadow today. "Not a single blemish in sight, today ... They're all looking so healthy." She sighed tiredly, licking her paws. "So pure."
She smirked joyfully to herself, gently closing her tattered journal and sliding it onto the cabinet she kept it on. She laid and stared at her plants adoringly. This was her life's work... so far. She was very much appreciative of how it turned out; she could thank the sun for its plentiful rays and the nearby water reservoirs for their abundance of nutrients that kept the greenery alive and happy. She was truly blessed with the fruits that Tanglewood had to offer her.
And it was so much more than that.
"I know I've had several ideas that've fallen flat at times, but at least this one doesn't require any participation." She smiled. "It's time to return the favor for everything everyone gave me."

Tying the final ribbon, putting the finishing touches on her gifts, she stood back to gaze in awe at what she created. A collection of bouquets, tailored for every Tangler she could think of, and used what little flower supplies she had to make them. A collection for very special people who held very special places in her heart.
She sighed heavily, anxiously, and began writing notes for each bouquet. Tucking them in their neat woven baskets, she rested, taking a small nap to await nightfall. After all, there's no better time to deliver them -- when they're all asleep. She wanted it to be a surprise, after all.

The evening came in a flash. The stars speckled the sky like glitter, and the moon graced the land with its light, guiding any nighttime travelers who needed its wisdom. It was the perfect time for Iota to deliver her special gifts.
[member=480]Nayru[/member]
First and foremost, she began with Nayru. One of the very first to greet her into Tanglewood, and one of the first to welcome her into the grand family that she began to know and love. [b]Love. And she meant that. No other Tangler could take her heart the way Nayru did. Was there a rhyme or reason to her feelings? Maybe somewhere, maybe undiscovered. But for now, Iota just had this distinct feeling that she adored her friend more than anyone she could ever think of. The feeling was tantalizing.
She arrived at her home, gently shoving the bouquet at her door. It was a beautiful bouquet of roses. Iota may have been a cheesy romantic, but to her, it had a much deeper meaning than that. Roses were some of her favorite flowers; the velvet, enticing reds of the petals and the thorns of the stem reminded her of herself, of what she used to be. To her, roses were a beautiful representation of her past. And for that reason alone, she loved them.

[align=center]I hope you like these roses as much as I do. You mean so much to me, Nayru. I'm glad to have you by my side, and I'm so happy we met. i love you ← Ignore that, haha ... My pen slipped. Anyways, thank you. So much. You helped me get rid of my demons, and you've just ... done so much for me that I can't even think about right now because I'm too excited to tell you how I feel. You mean a lot to me, and I'll never be able to repay you even to the end of time. Until then, I hope you enjoy this bouquet.

Next was Fenris. He'd also been one of the first to meet Iota, but was the very first to let her realize that she was among friends, among family, and that she'd be accepted into their home no matter who she was or what she looked like. He was truly a father figure to her.
Arriving at his home, the pastel feline slid a bouquet of beautifully colored snapdragons canvassed onto another woven basket.
Hey, Fenris. I know we don't really speak much, but I want you to know that the few times we did speak meant the world to me. You helped me come out of my shell here at Tanglewood, and helped me realize that I was better than I thought I was. No gift is greater than that. You made me feel accepted here, and that's all I could really ever ask for. I hope we get to talk more soon, because I'd love to hear some more of your tidbits of wisdom. ;)
Anyways, I hope you love these snapdragons. They're my hand-picked gift to you.
Happy belated Father's Day. <3
With love.

Of course, the next visit was to Amunet's home, the wife of her own father figure. As he was her father figure, so Amunet was her mother figure. She also was one of the first to welcome Iota into the clan, giving off her own pieces of wisdom to the pink feline.
Sliding Amunet's woven basket of white tulips to her door, she moved hastily away to move to her next destination.
Amunet, keep the husband in check, will ya? Haha ... Anyways, I wanted to thank you for helping me feel at home here in Tanglewood. You and the others did an excellent job at making me feel like I have a place here. After my time being here, there's no place I'd rather be. We should hang out sometime ... if you're not busy or ... anything. Us demigoddesses and goddesses have to keep each other up to speed on things, right? I hope you enjoy these white tulips I picked for you. I thought that you'd like them because, y'know... [i]goddesses look pretty in white or something like that.
Thank you, again, for making me feel at home.
With love.

Last, and most certainly not least, came Beck, the leader of it all. He inadvertently welcomed her into one of the most heartwarming places she'd ever been to. Even if he came off a little cold to her and her clanmates, she had a soft spot for the poltergeist. Maybe they could be friends someday.
She nudged his basket of alstroemeria, a flower that meant wealth, loyalty, and above all, friendship, towards Beck's perch and rushed off, watching her steps to avoid stepping into any hidden traps.
She turned around hastily. Fenris had done something to keep the illiterate on-track with what he wrote... what was it... Ah, right, a crow. She fetched one from a nearby treetop, hoping it would calm down in her gentle, warm embrace, and placed it next to the bouquet, hoping it would read aloud the message to her leader. She turned again and rushed off, again attempting to avoid any traps laid before her.
Hey Beck. I know we haven't been the best of friends since my joining, and I know that you're not too fond of friendships and whatnot. What I do know is that I really appreciate everything you've done for not only me, but for the rest of Tanglewood. You've created a family -- a strong, loving, and supportive family. That's more than most have ever done, and that's a pretty big achievement. I'd be really proud if I were you.
We love you, Beck. Even if it seems like we shy away from some of your remarks or whatever, I want you to know that most of us put that stuff aside and see you for who you truly are. You're more than what you are on the surface, and anyone with eyes can see that. You're so special, and you mean the world to a lot of us -- including myself.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this bouquet. I hand-picked the flowers that I think would mean the most to you -- and the most gorgeous ones. I hope they mean as much to you as they do to me.
Thank you.
With love.

[i]Satisfied with her work, she returned to her home, tears streaming down her cheeks in joy as the love she'd been feeling was immense. She laid and shut her eyes slowly, smile still plastered on her face, as the demigoddess began to lull herself to sleep with the sound of her heartbeat.
What an emotion, huh?
